What Your Contributions Can Accomplish

With Hospice, people who are terminally ill can remain where they feel loved and safe, surrounded by family and friends. Often, patients are not so much afraid of dying as of the pain that might accompany it. Hospice addresses this anxiety - with medications, with massage and other complementary therapies, with a caring spirit, and with exceptional skill.

Unfortunately, what insurance pays does not cover the entire cost of providing hospice care. And some patients have limited health insurance coverage - or none at all. However, no one is ever denied services due to lack of insurance coverage or inability to pay.

To provide hospice services to all who need them, Hospice depends on individual, organizational, and memorial donations to fill the financial gap left by insurance reimbursements. Hospice is recognized as a 501-C-3 charitable organization, so all donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

Contributions to Hospice allow us to make a difference in the quality of life for terminally ill patients and their families. In addition to providing comprehensive care to patients today, donations help us develop and sustain new services to meet the needs of anyone with an advanced, life-threatening illness in the future.

A variety of gift options are available, including cash contributions, memorial donations, trust arrangements and bequests as part of a will. Gifts to Hospice may also qualify for additional estate and income tax benefits.

We at CHCH will be happy to meet with you and your financial advisor to discuss how a gift may be arranged that expresses your commitment to the Hospice care efforts
