Home Care At It's Best!

California Homecare and Hospice provides a wide variety of health care and supportive services, ranging from professional nursing to physical and respiratory therapies, as well as, social work and nutritional care. Experienced nurses, therapists and aides are available to assist patients of all ages, including newborn infants, young children, adults and the elderly. Services may also include skilled observation, assessment, and instruction to our patients and families.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
- A physician's order or referral
- Patient must be deemed home bound
- Diagnosis of a curative treatment
HOME CARE SERVICES
RN's and LVN's provide skilled nursing services in the home that cannot be performed safely and effectively by nonprofessional personnel. Some of these services include injections, wound care, catheter insertion, ostomy care, education on disease treatment, preventative care and patient assessments.
Physical Therapists work to restore the mobility and strength of patients who are limited or disabled by physical injuries through the use of exercise and other methods. They also teach patients and caregivers special techniques for walking and transfer.
Home Health Aides assist patients getting in and out of bed, walking, bathing, toileting, and dressing.
Social Workers evaluate the social and emotional factors affecting ill and disabled individuals and provide counseling.

COST OF SERVICES
For Medicare and Medi-Cal beneficiaries, both Home Care and Hospice services are covered 100%, at no cost to the patient. Private insurance and private pay is also accepted.
